Private individuals
As a private individual, you have two options for disposing of your equipment free of charge and in line with environmental guidelines. Collection for a fee is possible in exceptional situations.
Here’s what you have to do:
- Take your waste equipment to an electrical and electronic equipment dealer that sells the same type of equipment you would like to dispose of. You do not need to present a purchase receipt or buy new equipment to return your old device.
- Take your waste equipment to one of around 600 Swico collection points in your region. From there, the equipment is taken directly to one of our recycling partners and is professionally dismantled. The collection points are not allowed to hand out any equipment or parts thereof.
